Resumen:
A Pleistocene proglacial deltaic sequence outcrops at the southeastern Lake Fagnano coastal cliff. Deltaic facies overlay a till which formed a lacustrine paleobed in times of deltaic sediments deposition. Bottomset, topset and foreset deposits may be distinguished. The bottomset beds mainly formed by silt, present lenticular bedding, drapped lamination and parallel lamination. The foreset beds are formed of gravel by coarse gravel with cross bedding. The topset beds are gravel deposits and show parallel bedding. Dating of lacustrine deposits suggest a Pre-Wisconsin age for the deltaic sequence.
