Resumen:
The microplankton found in the middle to upper section of the Los Espejos Formation (Upper Silurian) in Loma de Los Piojos, south of Jáchal, is described. The distribution of species in the section and their chronological range are given. The studied microplankton is assigned to the Upper ludlovian-Pridolian?. Relation between palynomorph assemblages distribution and depositional paleoenvironments is analyzed.
