Resumen:
We report the sequence of 2 Klebsiella pneumoniae clinical isolates, JHCK1 and VA360, from a newborn with meningitis in Buenos Aires, Argentina and from a tertiary care medical center in Cleveland, OH, respectively. Both contain one chromosome and at least 5 plasmids; isolate VA360 contains the KPC carbapenemase gene.
