Resumen:
The transport and structural properties of high transition temperature superconductor (HTc) / SrTiO3 (STO) bilayers were measured using conductive atomic force microscopy. Our results show an extremely nice control of the barrier properties, over high structural quality of the HTc superconducting electrode. The STO barrier presents good insulating properties, with longer attenuation lengths which reduces the junction resistance and increases the operating critical current. The samples present roughness values going from 0.5 nm to 1 nm, with an extremely low density of surface defects. This are encouraging results for the development of HTc JJ based microelectronics.
