obtain parabolic and one--sided maximal function estimates fornonisotropic dilations of the mean value kernel for the heatequation:\,$k(x,t)=\tfrac{1}{4}\tfrac{\abs{x}^2}{t^2}\mathcal{X}_{E(0,0;1)}(x,-t)$where $E(0,0;1)$ is the heat ball given by$\{(x,t)\in\Real^{d+1}:t\leq 0,\, (-4\pit)^{\tfrac{d}{2}}e^{-\frac{\abs{x}^2}{4t}}\leq 1\}$.
