Recently Taleyarkhan et al. presented evidence of the deuterium-deuterium (DD) fusion reactions in a multibubble sonoluminescent (MBSL) system. In this article, the results of the search of evidence of DD reactions in a single cavitation bubble luminescent (SCBL) system are presented. A single bubble is produced using a Nd:YAG laser in CDCl3 and D2O media varying the liquid temperature betweenet al. presented evidence of the deuterium-deuterium (DD) fusion reactions in a multibubble sonoluminescent (MBSL) system.
