Resumen:
We present a method for the approximate determination of the bound eigenstates of the single particle Schrodinger equation from incomplete information, on the basis of a consistent ansatz for the wave function. Results indicate that it is possible to obtain an accurate prediction of the wave function of ground and excited states and of the local shape of the potential (assumed unknown) with the knowledge of a few relevant expectation values.
