It comparatively describes how universities accompanytrajectories in STEM areas. It starts om an internalist perspectivethat questions the organization with the understanding that theimplementation of university policies does not presuppose theirsuccess. From a qualitative design, two public universities inArgentina were selected and within them the engineering careersconsidered ?strategic? for future development. e results arenegative in terms of implementation and equity.
