Resumen:
The neurocognitive processing of emotions evoked by visual stimuli (based on affective images) could involve internal structures of the brain. Currently, numerous studies suggest the possibility of studying the dynamics of such processing using non-invasive techniques, such as electroencephalography. The aim of this study is to analyze the temporal dynamics of brain oscillations evoked by pleasant and unpleasant emotional states in children. To do this, EEG signalswere recorded during the presentation of affective images, to subsequently analyzethem through estimates of desynchronization in the EEG beta and gamma band. The results show that emotional processing would be related to specific patterns offunctional connectivity and the existence and lateralization of differences betweenemotional responses for both valences
