Resumen:
The third-instar larva of Suphisellus curtus (Sharp, 1882) isdescribed and illustrated for the first time, including morphometric and chaetotaxic analyses of the cephalic capsule, head appendages, legs, last abdominal segment, and urogomphus. This is thesecond detailed larval description for the genus Suphisellus Crotch, 1873. Larvae of this genus can be readily separated fromother known noterid larvae by the strongly developed galea, subequal in length to maxillary palpus. Suphisellus curtus differs fromS. rufipes (Sharp, 1882) in the dorsal colour pattern, S. rufipesbeing entirely testaceous and S. curtus testaceous with transversebrown bands between body segments
