La investigación arqueológica forense que realiza el Colectivo de Arqueología, Memoria e Identidad de Tucumán (CAMIT) en el denominado Pozo de Vargas posibilitó, hasta fines del año 2020, la identificación nominal de 113 víctimas de la desaparición forzada en la provincia de Tucumán durante el período comprendido entre mediados de 1975 y mediados de 1977. A casi dos décadas del inicio de la intervención forense (2002), presentamos algunos aspectos técnicos y metodológicos que posibilitaron el avance de la investigación en el interior de esta construcción subterránea y contribuir con interpretaciones sobre el genocidio en Tucumán // The forensic archaeological investigation carried out by Colectivo de Arqueología, Memoria e Identidad de Tucumán (CAMIT) in the so-called Pozo de Vargas made it possible, until the end of 2020, the nominal identification of 113 victims of forced disappearance in the province of Tucumán during the period between mid-1975 and mid-1977. Almost two decades after the beginning of the forensic intervention (2002), we present some technical and methodological aspects that made possible the advance of the investigation inside this underground construction and contribute with interpretations about the genocide in Tucumán.
