Conocimiento científico y políticas públicas: un análisis de la utilidad de las investigaciones científicas en el campo social

This paper presents the preliminary results of ongoing research on the pertinence and social impact of science and technology in Argentina. As a part of the same, certain work has been done on the conjecture that the principal contributions of the scientific and technological system in social development and in attention to serious social problems that affect society, should be evident in the connections and interactions that occur between actors that operate in the social field, whether involved in design and decision making in the area of public policy, or as agents in charge of the execution of social actions and interventions, public or private.
