Resumen:
This article presents a series of keys to interpret the processes of Mapuce community reconstruction in Neuquen after the "Campaign to the desert" (1878-1885) and until the present. It takes into account certain contexts and factors - state policies, processes of settlement, the advance of economic activities - that enabled or precluded the reconstitution of communities in the province. Based on them, the paper identifies three types of community processes during the 20th century and the first two decades of the 21st century, as well as a series of zones that, in different moments, became especially dynamic in terms of the quantity of reconstructed communities.
