Resumen:
This paper exposes and analyses two cases of reception of Dante’s political philosophy in the Renaissance. On the one hand, Salutati’s lecture on Dante underlines some democratic and aristotelian features of Dante’s Convivio; on the other hand, Ficino’s focuses the monarchical and platonic aspects of Dante’s Monarchia. This paper aims at showing the conditiones sine qua non of these different receptions during the Renaissance.
