Resumen:
We study numerically the interaction of the Shockley surface state at the f-point of Cu(111) with periodic arrangements of adsorbed/absorbed Cu and Fe atoms. We use an spd tight-binding hamiltonian with the local basis enlarged to account for electron spillover.
