Resumen:
This paper presents the experimental values of relative energy [Formula presented] for grain boundaries (GB) in <112-0>/φ bicrystal samples with different misorientations and inclinations at −5°C and −18 °C. The relative energy [Formula presented] depends on misorientation and inclination of grain boundary showing greater variability at −18 °C than at −5°C. All the samples studied show that [Formula presented] increases with grain boundary inclination at −18 °C and that it is higher in asymmetric than in symmetric grain boundaries. Finally, the values of [Formula presented]were compared to a grain boundary structure model based on the lattice of coincident sites (CSL) for ice.
