These committees comprise recognized specialists equivalent or superior to CONICET independent researchers. The mission is to advice CONICET Board about income presentations, reports, promotions, PIP projects and fellowships. To perform the tasks, the Committees must select Consultant Peers.
The decisions of committees’ have the necessary elements to assess the academic quality of the researchers’ scientific production, their continuity, theoretical consistency and methodology of the research pla, the evaluation of the human resources trained by the researcher, the impact and/or transfer to the medium, when they correspond, as well as other elements that support the recommendation and/or the order of merit. The foundation of these opinions is based exclusively on academic reasons.
The members that make up the different committees are appointed by the Board of Directors and are renewed periodically.
