Resumen:
Voluta musica is an endemic Volutid gastropodspecies restricted to the Venezuelan and ColombianCaribbean as well as to some Caribbean Islands(Clench and Turner 1964). It is a gonochoriscticspecies with internal fertilization and developmentoccurs in egg capsules, which containextraembryonic food sources in the intracapsularliquid that allows the embryos to hatch as crawling juveniles
