Resumen:
We address these main  Biological and Computational questions: B1. How to identify, and quantify differences in repetitive elements (REs) of full chromosomes within and between species? B2. Are there any preferred locations of REs in genomes? B3. Are they randomly distributed? B4. How fast REs move within genomes? B5. Are REs almost equally distributed between species? C1. What is a repetitive DNA sequence? C2. How to find them exhaustively and efficiently? C3. How to visualise results?
