Resumen:
The morphology of the boreholes on the cylichnid Kaitoa patagonica (Ihering, 1907) ? coming from the late Oligocene - early Miocene Monte León Formation exposed along the coast of the province of Santa Cruz, Argentina ? allows us to describe predation patterns and identify the possible predator organism. Size analysis of the population (using length of shell axis) of drilled and non-predated individuals shows a probable prey selection by size. Results also suggest a clear selection of drilling location on the specimens. In addition, correlation between sizes of prey and predator was analized.
