Resumen:
In this work, we develop a mathematical model of the propylene-1-hexene copolymerization able to predict average molecular properties as well as different property distributions, such as the bivariate molecular weight distribution-copolymer composition distribution (MWD-CCD). Using code parallelization, the MWD-CCD is calculated effectively and fast employing the 2D probability generation function (pgf) technique. The results highlight the model’s potential of becoming a powerful tool to get insights into the relationship between operating conditions and target molecular properties.
