Resumen:
The kinetic crystallization behavior of model block copolymers based on e-caprolactone, obtained by anionic polymerization (high vacuum techniques), was study by isothermal crystallization experiments. Employing model poly(styrene-b-e-caprolactone) (PS-b-PCL) and poly(dimethylsiloxane-b-e-caprolactone) (PDMS-b-PCL) with different composition we analyzed the influence of the amorphous block on the processes of nucleation and growth of poly(e-caprolactone) crystallization. Isothermal crystallization experiments allow us to obtain kinetics parameters of interest such as the half-life (t1/2), the bulk crystallization constant (k), and the Avrami exponent (n).
