Resumen:
The Chenque I site is located in the Lihué Calel National Park, southern La Pampa province. It is a mortuary feature situated in a qualified point of the landscape conformed by a subcircular rock structure. The Superior Unit contains highly fragmented and dispersed human skeletal remains, while the Inferior Unit contains both primary and secondary burials. The present article fulfill the spatial analysis of the human remains recovered from the Superior Unit. The distribution of this osseous fragments will be evaluated, with the aim of determining the existence of fragment aggregations belonging to previous burials, and inferring any regular pattern of location.
