Resumen:
A deep characterization of the soot particles emitted by the CAST burner according to its operating conditions evidenced very small soot particles (diameter lower than 3 nm). - Some very small soot particles (1 ? 25 nm) are emitted during the DPF regeneration process but this emission seems to be larger in the presence of a catalyst. - The filtering capacity of the commercial SiC-made DPF is very good, even for very small particles, - The catalytic efficiency of La1-x-yAxByMnO3 was demonstrated both with powders and with a washcoat deposited in a DPF.
