Resumen:
A method for antiserum production against gyroxin is being evaluated in rabbits. Gyroxin, a toxin from the venom of Crotaluss durissus terrificus that simultaneously affects the nervous system, circulatory homeostasis and the coagulation mechanisms was isolated  by gel filtration chromatography (Sephadex G75) followed by affinity chromatography on Benzamidine-Sepharose 6B column. Intradermic via, intramuscular via and antigen (gyroxin) in the dilution used in routine inoculation (200 mg.mL–1) with adyuvante provide by INTA  were employed to produce immune response. Serums of all inoculated rabbits showed an increase of  inmunoglobulin, it was detected through the bands of similar quality and intensity in g region obtained  by electroforesis in cellulose sheet. Inmunoprecipitacion in agar gel tests are being used to establish the antibody titer.
