ROBERTO BÁRCENA *OBERTO BÁRCENA * RESUMEN El desarrollo de un programa de investigaciones arqueológicas y etnohistóricas, con subsidios institucionales y que abarca el Centro oeste argentino en sentido amplio, nos permite en cada contribución aportar avances que van configurando mejor el sistema inka regional en relación con las poblaciones locales del Período de los Desarrollos Regionales en sentido lato. En esta oportunidad ofrecemos aportes sobre la infraestructura inka en el área de Laguna Brava, del Río Grande de Valle Hermoso y de Guandacol en La Rioja, haciendo lo propio con la de Paso del Lámar y de Gualilán en San Juan. A los sitios develados, tambos, que aumentan el registro inka del COA, sumamos los resultados de una parte de las excavaciones en Paso del Lámar, que señalan determinadas actividades según estructuras, agregando a esto los resultados de una nueva versión topográfica planialtimétrica del establecimiento. Aportamos, además, para el mejor conocimiento de la red vial inka en La Rioja, ampliando registros existentes con otros nuevos, señalando que la complejidad del sistema que vamos develando induce a reconsiderar las tipologías en uso sobre los caminos. ABSTRACT An archaeological and ethnohistorical research program widely encompassing the Argentine middle-west is being developed with institutional funding. With each contribution it is possible to make a better configuration of the Inka regional system in relation to the local population of the Regional Development Period not sensu stricto. This work affords knowledge on the Inka infrastructure in the areas of Laguna Brava, Río Grande of Valle Hermoso, Guandacol at La Rioja and in Paso del Lámar and Gualilán in San Juan.
