Resumen:
The complete tomography of a quantum state is a task that grows exponentially with the number of qubits, so it is of great interest to design strategies to perform this task efficiently. In this line, we focus on developing tomographic methods using as a hypothesis that the states to be tomographed have a given symmetry and cases where the available information is incomplete to perform a standard tomography [1, 2]. In this work we show how group-invariant tomography [1] performs, for a real experiment of a 5-qubit state that is invariant under permutations. Only performing 56 measurements, we reconstruct the state with fidelities than those obtained by usual methods [3], which normally require 1024 measurements to estimate the state in question.
