Resumen:
The frustrated Heisenberg models on the honeycomb lattice play an important role due to the experimental realization of materials showing this structure andmagnetic disorder. Possible magnetically disordered ground states in the spin ½ J1 J2 Heisenberg antiferromagnetic model on the honeycomb lattice has been explored recently by various approaches. However, these studies have proposedconflicting physical scenarios, regarding the existence and nature of disordered phases at intermediate frustration. In this work we compare two VBC phases thathave been proposed as ground states of the system for intermediate frustration.
