Resumen:
Recent work demonstrates the relevance of convection during the growth of patterns in thin layer electrochemical deposition. Convection is driven mainly by coulombic forces to local charges and buoyancy forces due concentration gradients that lead to density gradients. The viscosity of the electrolyte play an important role in ion transport. Here we study by experiments and theoretical modeling the effects of viscosity variations on ion transport and growth morphology when convection prevails.
