Resumen:
The study of the crystalline uranyl−coordination polymer (UCPs) hasbeen intensively explored in the last decade, mainly due to itspotential applications and the variety of novel achievedarchitectures.1 Furthermore, the rational combination of organicligands together with the coordination modes of the uranyl cation[UO2]2+ has led to the formation of an important number of neworganic−inorganic connectivities with different dimensionalities andnuclearity of uranyl centred building units.2 These crystallineassemblies are commonly obtained by employing O-donor moleculessuch as polycarboxylic acids. Nevertheless, the use of N-donorauxiliary ligands such as aromatic amines gives rise to unpredictablearchitectures such as isolated clusters, chains, layers, rings,multicavity-structures among others.1
