Resumen:
In this work the adherence of colloidal hematite to silver andmercury electrodes from 10-2 M NaClO4, solutions was studiedby direct counting on SEM micrographs and admittance mea?surements. A linear relationship was limntl between the particlecoverage on the electrode and the difference of the electrodecapacity in the colloidal suspension and that in the base elec-trolyte. A simple model which explains this relationship is pro-posed. The esperimental results indicate the presence of specificinteractions between hematite and the metallic surface.
