Resumen:
The presence of Octodon in Argentina was recently recorded for the first time in the archaeological levels of Chenque Haichol. It was recently possible to catch eight specimens of O. bridgesi in two Argentinian areas of the Province of Neuquén. This small sample gives the chance to throwing light on some features of this species and on his biogeographical interest
