Resumen:
The tetragonal-to-monoclinic phase transition in zirconiapowders when exposed to different gas mixtures was studied.Analysis was done at 940°C in the presence of argon and achlorine-argon mixture. X-ray diffraction shows that thephase transition is accelerated in the presence of chlorine.Transmission electron microscopy reveals changes in themicrostructure of the particles subjected to the gaseous mixtures.
