Resumen:
A total of 81 specimens of Ctenomys talarum Thomas, 1898, collected during 2000 and 2001 at Mar de Cobo, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina (37º 58´S, 57º 34´W) was examined for parasitic nematodes. A new nematode species, Graphidioides subterraneus n. sp., found in the stomach of C. talarum (prevalence: 24.7 %; mean intensity 20.4), is described. Among members of Graphidioides, the new species more closely resembles G. mazzai Lent and Freitas, 1935 and G. kravetzi Sutton and Durette-Dessete, 1995, from which it can be distinguished by the size of spicules, gubernaculum and uterine branches, by the number of cephalic papillae and of eggs in the uterine branches and by the number of ridges in the synlophe, which in turn are interrupted or confluent.
