Resumen:
Here wepresentaneasy-reproduciblemicrowave-assistedhydrothermalrouteforpreparingpurena-nocrystalline CeO2 films. Theproducedmaterialswerecharacterizedusingawiderangeoftechniques(X-raydiffraction, field emissiongunscanningelectronmicroscopy,Ramanspectroscopy)tounderstandthe synthesisdependentchangesincrystallographicstructure,andcrystallitesize.RamanandX-raydiffraction techniquesrevealedthatthe films werefreeofsecondaryphasesandthattheycrystallizeinthe cubicstructure.Theobservedhydrodynamicparticlesizelargerthanthecrystallitesizeconfirms theaggregation phenomenon.Gassensingmeasurementshavebeencarriedouttorationalizethetypeandnumber ofsurfaceadsorbedgroupsandoverallnanostructure.Electricalconductancevariations,owingto gasesadsorptionontosemiconductoroxide films surfaces,wereobservedinthiswork.ChemiresistiveCeO2 film propertiesdependontheintergranularbarrierheightsandwidth.
