Resumen:
(269) PROTECTIVE IMMUNE RESPONSE INDUCED BYYERSINIA ENTEROCOLITICA DEFICIENT IN YOPHDave, Mabel Noemí; Silva, Juan E; Gorlino, Carolina V;Di Genaro, María SInstituto Multidisciplinario de Investigaciones Biológicas-San Luis (IMBIO-SL). CONICET-UNSYersinia outer protein H (YopH) is a powerful protein-tyrosinphosphatase that contributes to Yersinia enterocolitica (Ye) evasion.Previously, it has been demonstrated that Ye deficient inYopH (Ye DyopH) is attenuated in mice. However, the immuneresponse induced by this mutant is unknown. The objective wasto demonstrate whether previous Ye DyopH infection trigger aprotective immune response against a consequent Ye wild-typeor Salmonella enterica (Se) infection. For this purpose, C57BL/6wild-type mice were orally infected with 1-5x108 Ye ΔyopH or theyreceived saline (control). At day 14, the mice were challengedwith Ye WA-314 (Ye wild-type) or Se. Survival, weight loss, clinicalscore and the colony forming units (CFU) number in Peyer´spatches (PP), mesenteric lymph nodes (MLN) and spleen at day7 after challenger were determined. Cellular recruitment in PP atday 3 after Ye DyopH or Ye WA-314 infection were analyzed byflow cytometry. We observed that Ye DyopH infection inducedsignificant increase in the survival (100% vs 60%, p
