Resumen:
Simple optical techniques demonstrate the existence of considerable relative delays between the onset of the excitation across the discharge of an atmospheric pressure nitrogen laser. The delays may be larger than the local excitation life time and play a key role in the amplification of rays reflected back into glow by a near mirror.
