Resumen:
In the present work, amorphous PLA was melt-blended with a commercial polyadipate. The incorporation of this plasticizer conducted to a clear improvement in ductile properties of the matrix but oxygen transmission rate through films considerably increased6. The addition of 3wt% organomodified montmorillonite led to a good compromise between mechanical and barrier properties with the aim to find plasticized PLA formulations for flexible packaging. Overall migration tests were performed in some food simulants as a first approach to evaluate the potential application of these novative nano-biocomposites as food contact materials
