Resumen:
Many efforts have been devoted on the study of processing variables in the case of glass fiber/thermosets composites obtained by RTM. Nevertheless, no studies on natural fibers composites were reported in literature. Among the processing variables, fiber permeability plays an important role on the filling time and the flow pattern. The aim of this work is to determine the effect of porosity and mat pattern on fiber permeability and find a model able to properly account for the relationship between these variables.
