?Biodiversidad de nematodos marinos en areas costeras del Atlantico sur y sus relaciones con las fauna brasileras y antárticas? Resumen Se abrirá la charla presentando al grupo de trabajo, sus temáticas y proyecciones futuras. Luego se presentará una síntesis del estudio realizado en nematodos marinos costeros Patagónicos en los últimos 30 años, los problemas que presentó el grupo, como fueron siendo solucionados y los logros obtenidos. Posteriormente se tratará de explicar los conocimientos actuales sobre su distribución en nuestras costas, se discutirá en relación a las distribuciones clásicas de invertebrados marinos. Se hablará de las faunas de nematodos cercanas brasilera y antártica y se presentará sus posibles relaciones. Se planteará la importancia como marcadores de ambientes en el estudio de la plataforma Argentina y talud para complementar su distribución. A summary of the study of marine nematodes in the Patagonian coastal areas during the last 30 years will be presented. Discussion of the problems encountered during the nematode study, how they were solved and what were the achievements. Later, we will try to explain the current understanding of nematode distribution in the Patagonian coast, it will be discussed in relation to the classical distributions of marine invertebrates. Also we will speak about nearby faunas of Brazilian and Antarctic nematodes and their possible relationships presented. We will end the talk mentioning the importance of marine nematodes as environmental markers in the study of the Argentine shelf and slope to get a better picture of its distribution.
