Resumen:
In the last years, composite materials have attractedmore attention because of the potential synergiccombination of the component properties. Inparticular, there has been an increasing interest incellulose-based composites materials due torenewability and abundance of this natural resource1.The incorporation of magnetic nanoparticles intocellulose matrices allows obtaining novel magneticnanocomposites. These materials have potentialapplication in papermaking and packaging, securitypaper, and information storage.In this work, magnetic cellulose fibers composites wereprepared by a casting method using magneticnanoparticles obtained by alkaline co-precipitationwith the aim to obtain magnetic papers. Thepreparation and characterization will be presented inthis work.
