Resumen:
The aim of this paper is the development and application of a mathematical model using the Finite Element Method to describe non linear anisotropic continuous media mechanical behavior. An Updated Lagrangian description with corotated Kirchhoff stress tensor, was taken on. This description leads to a non symmetric system stiffness matrix. An alternative for the non symmetric system is addressed and some of its characteristics are highlighted, from a mathematical both in mathematical and numerical point of view. Numerical examples for various materials and simple structural systems were solved. Even in situations where shear stresses attained high values, the hereinafter proposed alternative brought up excellent results.
