Resumen:
We study the effect of bimetallic Rh and Ni exsoluted catalyst from perovskite and elucidate effect of Rh on structure and Ni behavior. Increasing Ni from 0.05 to 0.2 distorts the unit cell competing with Rh to enter the structure. Catalyst LaAlRh0.02Ni0.2O3 shown the higher cell distortion. Rh enhances reducibility of Ni decreasing reduction temperatures. Absence of separate reduction peaks for Ni 0.2 catalysts suggests the presence of NiRh surface alloy. XPS of Rh 3d also suggest a NiRh alloy formation. Increasing Ni stoichiometric from 0.05 to 0.2 increase oxygen mobility. Oxygen mobility and alloy formation can play an important role on carbon release from surface and improve catalyst stability
