Resumen:
Fusarium head blight (FHB) is one of the most important fungal wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) diseases worldwide. In this research work, phenotypic analysis was performed using the technique of inoculation point under greenhouse conditions, and genotypic evaluation was taken by using primers associated with QTL Qfhs.ndsu-3BS (type II resistance) and Qfhs.ifa-5A markers (type I resistance). Genotypes that inherited a chromosomal fragment of Qfhs.ndsu-3BS QTL could be identified and associated to a resistance level. Thus, 64.3% of the genotypes that carriers the QTL were classified as resistant, while 67% of the genotypes that did not have any fragments were classified as susceptible, except 2 genotypes that exhibited a low percentages of severity and may be carriers of others QTLs for this type of resistance.Key words: Triticum aestivum L. ? Fusarium graminearum ? QTL 3BS ? Type II Resistance
