Resumen:
Hydrogels using new monomer with three periphery acid groups were synthesized. The products presented different equilibrium swelling ratio and kinetic according the amount of crosslinking agent and the pH of swelling medium. The reologycal studies showed that the hydrogels can be able to support deformations at high frequencies without alteration. Furthermore, the hydrogels developed in this study exhibit good swelling and viscoelastic properties suggesting that they have potential applications in different fields.
