Resumen:
Indoor air pollution is a major issue nowadays. People spend most of their time in confined places and are exposed to a variety of chemicals. In order to reduce the exposure levels to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), one might rely on Advanced Oxidation Technologies of proven efficiency in air treatment. In particular, photocatalytic wall reactors have been successfully applied in the control of air pollutants. The aim of this work is to evaluate the performance of different mesh reactors using Titanium dioxide (TiO2) as photocatalyst and near UV lamps for the elimination of typical indoor air pollutants.
