The main objectives of the work are:a) To synthesize  and characterize calcium carbonate (CaCO3)particles.b) To design design water -based fluids (WBMs)using different viscosifier agents (xanthan (xanthan gum), bentonite, polyanionic p cellulose,and CaCO3 particles.3) To study the effect of CaCO3 particles addition on the main functional properties propertiesproperties of WBMs (rheological, (rheological, filtration, thermal and structural structural properties) .
