Cognition: Is it possible in fish?

The diversity of genetic programming patterns and conditioning learning of animal in general, and in fish in particular, had concerned behavioral scientist. In this project the question of fish cognition and its role in their behavior and ecosystems interactions is explored. Cognitive patterns have and explicatory value in fish behavior in terms of their functional relationship of the environment. The study of fish as cognitive beings widens the framework of the behavioral sciences, projecting new thoughts in animal conservation.
