Resumen:
*Apragmosyne* (as opposed to *polypragmosyne*) is an abstract noun indicating unmeddlesomeness or lack of involvement in troublesome affairs (therefore in politics) and/or an attitude of quietism or tranquility often associated with the rejection of litigiousness. As in forensic oratory, in Old Comedy minding one´s own business is frequently taken as a compliment. In contexts of war apragmosyne is closely related to the desire for peace and enjoyment of life and prosperity, as Aristophanes and other contemporary playwrights show in their plays.
