Training specialists in Forensic Social Work. An experience of cross-cultural education in Latin America

This contribution analyzes relevant aspects of a cross-cultural teaching experience which included courses, conferences and institutional assessments, developed between 2012 and 2015, addressed to social workers working in the justice system. These events emerge as a result of the exchange between an innovative program of specialization in Forensic Social Work in the National University of Comahue (Argentina, 2010) -hereafter known as "the Program"- the Judicial Council in Transition (Ecuador) and the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Panamá).
